I like keeping my lyrics nice and subtle, so you can interpret them however you want, but do know that this song is 100% inspired by Sherlock BBC. So consider it my long overdue contribution to the massive pool of Reichenbach fanworks.
yanxi | Ghost I Am
spare me my solitude,
my doubts and my sorrows.
they’re in the air, they’re on the waters,
they’re in the world down below.
sometimes i still hear
the calling of the unsolved fear.
it’s dancing under the starlight,
burning bright when you are near.
and the light flickered behind your eyes,
they burn like fire, they are cold as the night.and i will fall, fall, when i stop running.
i will fall. fall, the silence is closing in…‘cause i chose to lean on you
and abandoned everything i knew.
it will surely be the death of me,
when death has taken you but forsaken me.strange how truth makes you a liar,
defeat makes you the saviour.
strange how war makes you a believer,
and love makes you a martyr.
there’s a miracle at the end of every story,
and on the third day…
and we will rise, we will rise, when the rain stops falling
we will rise, rise, when the light is breaking in.
we will rise…
and I gave you all I had
save me from this ghost I am
Wow, wow, wow!! Amazing!
I do it for love. For love, I disappear.
For Love, I Disappear

+ And that’s the last of the 4 Sherlock mixes I started at the same time. The others were Things That Are Lost (John after The Fall), 17 Steps (John & Sherlock solving crimes) and Stealing Honey (John & Sherlock growing old and keeping bees together).
This fanmix, guys. It’s perfection.
Actually you should get the whole set, as all four of them are really great. But this one I love especially, because the concept is so awesome. I’m always really happy when people think about the fact that (at least in canon) bringing down the web is in fact Sherlock’s next step. And this person even made a fanmix about it (I love fanmixes with awesome concepts!). And a fucking good one, too.Same goes for “17 steps” - great concept, awesome music.”Things That Are Lost” is absolutely beautiful, but also really really heartbreaking. I love listening to “Stealing Honey”, because it’s one of the cutest fanmixes I’ve ever listened to. It’s really nice and warm and relaxing to listen to when you’re at home <3.
A little something I improvised on the piano. It’s the sherlock theme as a ballad.
I’m sorry it’s such a bad quality … ;-;
oh my gods oh my gods oh my gods..
You guys don’t understand.. I heard this before I ever saw Sherlock and I found it beautifully haunting… and then I couldn’t find it again. I seriously have been looking for this for months.
nearly crying because I am so happy to see it on my dash again.

BBC Sherlock Piano Medley!

Can you find the7 8 SH props?I find this music so perfectly suitable to the show. It recalls -especially towards the beginning of the piece - both the quickness of mind, the alacrity needed to solve a puzzle, as well as the quick walking pace so associated with being “on the case.” To me, this actually ties everything in with 19th C London, when everything was by foot power - either the horses’ feet or yours, and to track a killer, you really needed to…walk. And best do it quickly.
hey, one of our admins, G, made that <3

I just bought a new keyboard and did a little playing on the Reichenbach Ballad…no sheet music, sorry poor tempo~(ノД`)

Title: Do You Want To Have An Adventure?
Genre: Original music/Orchestral
Description: The young Sherlock going on an adventure. As a pirate.
————————————————
This is what I imagined the soundtrack to Pirate!sherlock would sound like. My first time writing action (sort of) music, please be gentle :)
Wooow! This is awesome!
I see Sherlock songs all the time over my dash, and yet it’s usually in isolated spurts. While artists and fanfiction writers have more widespread fame, a lot of Sherlockians have yet to be exposed to some good old “Shrock” — or, “Sherlock rock.” I’ve compiled a list of some Sherlock musicians I’ve really enjoyed. This is not a masterlist of all Sherlock musicians out there. I’ve also not included any purely instrumental musicians, just for the sake of this post’s brevity. Without further ado:

Here, have some post Reichenbach angst!
Rerecorded it with a proper microphone so the quality is better.
For me
In a few short seconds you changed everything that was.
Once at the beginning, once more at the end.
You hardly gave me time to stop and catch my breath.
You left me breathless from the first moment on.
I’ve seen all the things you did,
and I know they’re all true.
You’re the only one who could,
so here’s what I need you to do.
Chorus:
Give me one more miracle,
that’s all I’m asking for.
Just for me, please don’t be dead,
I can’t take it anymore
And I’ll always believe in you,
in spite of what you told me.
Yo’re the greatest man I ever knew,
so please just do this for me
There is so much I have to thank you for.
Without you I’m not myself anymore.
You showed up and brought me back to life.
Now you disappeared and I’m broken again.
If there’s someone who can do it
I know that it’s you.
Please come back to me.
That’s what I need you to do.
Chorus:
Give me one more miracle,
that’s all I’m asking for.
Just for me, please don’t be dead,
I can’t take it anymore
And I’ll always believe in you,
in spite of what you told me.
Yo’re the greatest man I ever knew,
so please just do this for me
(repeat chorus, first half improvised)
Just for me.
